Begitta - Bridal & Couture had the honour of being the Official Gown Sponsor for Miss Universe Australia, Queensland. Gowns, Glitz and Glamour plus in an array of exquisite red carpet gowns that you will totally die for!

We were absolutely flattered to be chosen as the Official Gown Sponsor for the Miss Universe Australia Queensland Team for 2016.
To celebrate the honour we created an exclusive new collection of stunning gowns ‘The Midnight Garden’ which were worn by 24 gorgeous contestants in the Queensland State Finals in late June. Then taking on the incredible tast of taking on 5 new Miss Universe National Finalists as Custom Couture clients to create their dream gown for the National Australian Finals in Melbourne.

After spending hundreds of hours creating stunning couture evening gowns for the five beautiful finalists, there came news that two new wild card entries would also be going through to the final from Queensland!! Creating the new total of seven looks! Thankfully we were well equiped with two new gorgeous gowns that were altered and zshooshed up to be the perfect gowns for our new Wild Girls!

The seven Miss Universe Queensland Finalists certainly stunned the audience on the runway – dressed to perfection in their unique Begitta creations.

The beautiful Jasmine Stringer and Elise Chambellant made it all the way into the top five competitors – with Jasmine taking the Fourth Runner up position, and the stunning Elise being made First Runner up.

Well done to all the girls who competed in the Miss Universe Queensland competition for 2016! We absolutely LOVED working with each and ever contestant and creating beautiful life-long friendships with these gorgeous women!
