THE PHOTOGRAPHY Amanda from the talented We Are Twine has an amazing way of capturing the inner essence of every moment she photographs. This photo shoot had its challenges being an outdoor shoot on top of a mountain but we wanted to embrace the raw environment and use this as a focal part of the shoot. This helped to enhance the Boho theme of the whole shoot. Cloud formations and a stunning outlook made the perfect back drop. Photography of soft gentle moments were highlighted throughout this shoot. Fabulous vendors working together made this photo shoot such amazing project to work on. THE DRESS Exquisite embroidered lace creates a svelte fit to flare silhouette of this stunning Begitta -Bridal and Couture bridal gown, additional hand appliqued fleurettes scattered lovingly over bust, waist, the divine full length sleeves and trickling down the train makes this piece stunningly bespoke and one-of-a-kind. Creating additional length and movement with the ethereal style removable belted skirt of silk chiffon, perfect for a touch of drama whilst keeping that relaxed bohemian bride feel! The stunning earcuffs hand-made with deluxe goose feather detail are an absolute show stopper and create such a unique and striking look for the utterly boho chic bride. Add a cathedral length Mantilla Veil for a truly awe-inspiring entrance! THE HAIR A hairstyle of soft woven curls creating a boho weaved look with an array of textures and colour, creating a sensual romantic but relaxed hairstyle. Headpeices of feathers used to enhance the boho theme. THE MAKEUP A make up look inspired by the latest trends of using rose gold as part of the colour pallette for a spring wedding, a smokey brown and rose gold shimmer on the eye with volumous lashes accentuates the natural blue hues of the models eyes. Peachy tones married with bronze to create the overall earthy boho theme. (Velbella - THE CELEBRANT It's such a pleasure to step outside the boundaries of normality in the land of Love & Marriage! This project had so much style, colour and exciting new concepts. The gorgeous couple were joined in ceremony amongst the beauty of the Australian bush setting. Words of love, hope and promise were shared under an Aztec Alter that connected the earth to the sky. My path as a Marriage Celebrant was taken to a higher place and my inner bohemian spirit danced in delight! INVITATIONS AND STATIONERY The invitations and stationery featured aztec shapes and boho colours inspired from the alter and then hand guilded cooper leaf that tied in beautifully with the flower filled metallic pots and cake whilst adding the extra special element to complete the boho feel. THE CAKE Using an airbrushed copper palette, this three-tier cake was highlighted with pops of orange, lavender and pink in both the geometric design and the fantasy flowers. Hand-made fondant succulents were the main focus and tied in with the floral arrangements and bouquets. Natural tones from the bride's hair and makeup were the inspiration for the wired feather topper. THE STYLING This shoot was such a joy to design, it allowed me to step outside of the wedding styling box and be innovative with bold colours and shapes. What really stands this shoot apart from others is how all vendors involved collaborated together to create such a perfectly finished product that I would be so delighted to deliver to a client. Out first job was to clearly find our unique niche that was going to make our future clients swoon and for myself this was the handmade altar. With many ideas shared and the dress made it was now time to get busy and sketch some ideas. My first idea was the Aztec geometric altar. I was able to create warmth with the wood, lots of colour and texture with the matte shapes whilst the metallic copper adds that little bit of sparkle all weddings need. With my power tools at the ready I was able to design and build products that are practical, usable and of course a one off. Specially sourced materials and hand made products adorned the shoot to bring all elements together that showcases a wonderland of talent by all vendors involved. I am so excited to have this new hire suite as part of our range. We were so lucky to have this photo shoot featured in the wonderful Brisbane Wedding Weekly's online magazine along with a print version of the fabulous Style Magazines Bridal February edition (Page 48) Photographer: We Are Twine - www.wearetwine.com.au
